We are delighted to invite you to the 7th Annual Quran Recitation & Memorization Competition, open to brothers and sisters of all ages – children, youth, and adults! This is a wonderful opportunity to strengthen our connection with the Quran and celebrate the beauty of its recitation and memorization.
📅 Recitation Competition Date: Saturday, March 15th, 2025
📅 Memorization Contest Date: Saturday, March 29th, 2025
⏰ Time: 3 PM

📝 Competition Rules:
Each participant will recite a designated Surah based on their age/grade level. Judging criteria include tone, pronunciation (Makharej Al-Huroof), application of Tajweed rules, and overall recitation flow. (Children ages 4-10 are exempt from Tajweed rules.)
Regarding the memorization part, participants must choose ONE Surah they do not already know. The competition will assess tone, pronunciation, and overall fluency in recitation.
