Al-Mahdi Youth
Al-Mahdi Youth believes in empowering the next generation of Shi’a Muslims to become strong, confident, and compassionate leaders. Our youth group is dedicated to fostering spiritual growth, community involvement, and personal development in a supportive Islamic environment. Our events take place at the Al-Mahdi Islamic Centre, community centres, or other venues, and can range from informal meet-ups to structured programs. The group focuses on themes such as social and cultural events, religious education, leadership development, community service and networking. Explore more about us below and come to our events! What We Offer
Al-Mahdi Youth offers a safe, welcoming and inclusive space to connect with other Shi’a youth aged 13-30. Each year, we organize large-scale events open to the general community, opportunities to volunteer and give back, and a variety of different programs and events ranging from Islamic workshops to social and sport hangouts.

We also invite you to bring your friends who may be interested in learning about Shi’a Islam. We always welcome volunteers for our events, ideas for programs or events, or collaborations with other organizations and Shi’a mosques.
