Al-Mahdi Islamic School is an educational program that strives to enhance Islamic teachings, morals and values in students. These include mutual respect, discipline, responsibility and modesty. We aim for students to implement Islamic teachings in their daily lives. Our vision is to bring the youth and children in our community together and help them learn Islamic values and knowledge. We want to further build our community by involving parents in their children’s journey to learn. We aspire to create a safe space for children to share their struggles so that our teachers can guide them. The curriculum of these classes typically covers the basics of Islamic beliefs and practices, as well as the teachings and stories of the Quran. They may also include Quranic studies, Islamic history, and the development of Islamic values and morals. The methods of teaching may vary, some classes may use textbooks, flashcards, games and other interactive activities to make learning fun and engaging. Quran classes for kids are a great way for children to learn a valuable skill and gain a deeper understanding and appreciation of the Islamic faith and culture. Please be advised that Al-Mahdi Islamic School classes will start this Sunday (September 15, 2024) at Al-Mahdi Islamic Centre at the following times:
- 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM for those who have opted into the language classes.
- 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM for those who have only opted into Deen, Tarbiyah, and Quran.
Location: Al-Mahdi Centre
Fee: $550 per child with language option
- $500 without language option
- $50 discount per additional child

Deadline to register is September 15th. Students must be 5 years old before the end of the year to register. Classes will begin September 15th.

OPTIONAL ARABIC AND URDU CLASSES
Parents also have the opportunity to register students in Level 3 and up for the Arabic and Urdu Language classes. These classes will be offered every Sunday from 10:00 to 11:00 am before Madressa starts.
